The health and well being of our Native people depend upon the gathering and preparation of traditional foods. Our mentors are all traditional hunters, fishermen & women, food and medicine gatherers who depend upon the land for their livelihood. We have helped many Indigenous people to re-learn how to identify, gather and prepare traditional foods and medicines that may have been forgotten or relocated due to environment disturbances. We are finding that the patterns and locations of our plants and animals have been drastically altered in the last number of years due to climate changes and human encroachment. It is our goal to be a community resource and mentor families who want to learn how to provide for themselves.
